Our Frida & Diego bands were always designed as a pair — two pieces that belong together without needing to match exactly. So when these clients chose them as their wedding bands, then customized each one to make them their own, it felt pretty perfect.

Both were made in 18K yellow gold, keeping the same strong, sculptural shape of the original Frida & Diego designs. One was kept clean and simple, letting the shape and weight of the gold do the talking. The other was finished with flush-set diamonds scattered around the band — a little extra sparkle, but still with that imperfect, organic feeling we love.

Named after Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, the bands were inspired by two artists with completely distinct identities — different, bold, and unmistakably their own. The idea was never about two identical rings. It was about two pieces that could stand entirely on their own, but make even more sense together.

Which, as it turns out, makes them pretty damn good wedding bands.
